A Tab Manager Plus alternative that keeps your tab groups
Tab Manager Plus is a good extension. It shows every window in one view, finds duplicates, and 200,000 people use it with a 4.7-star rating. If it does what you need, there is no reason to leave.
The reason people look for an alternative is maintenance. Its Chrome Web Store page shows the last update as October 2, 2024. One recent reviewer says it does not recognize Chrome tab groups, and another describes the list jumping around when tabs are moved.

Should you switch?
Stay with Tab Manager Plus if you want its grid of every window at once, you do not use tab groups, and the lack of updates does not worry you.
Try Tabwright if you use tab groups, want sessions you can restore after a crash, or prefer finding a tab by typing a few letters.
Tabwright is new, so it has few users and no track record yet. It needs no account, has no analytics, and your tabs never leave your computer.
