Privacy Policy

In short: Tablewright has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. It reads a web page only when you click its icon, and the files it makes are created inside your browser. Page content is never sent to us or to anyone else.

What Tablewright reads

When you click the Tablewright icon, it reads the tables and lists on the page in the tab you are looking at, so it can show them to you and export them. It does not read any other tab, and it does not read anything in the background. When you ask it to get the next pages or scroll for more rows (Pro), it keeps reading that same tab until it finishes or you stop it.

What Tablewright keeps on your device

• Your export options, such as whether numbers are cleaned up.
• Settings for each website you choose to save: the Next button you picked and the column names you changed (Pro).
• Your Pro license, if you activate one: the key and the device ID it was given.

All of this is stored in your browser's local extension storage. Nothing is written into the websites you visit. Uninstalling the extension removes everything.

When Tablewright goes online

• Ask AI, only when you click it. Tablewright copies the table, the page title and the page address (without anything after a ? or #) to your clipboard and opens the AI site you chose in a new tab. It does not send anything to that site itself; whether you paste is up to you, and once you do, that site's own privacy policy applies.
• Pro license checks only. When you activate Pro, about once a week afterwards, and when you deactivate, Tablewright sends your license key and a random device label (such as "Tablewright · 3f9a1c2e") or the device ID it was given to our license server. The server forwards them to Creem, our payment provider, to confirm the license. Nothing about the pages you read is ever included.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Creem as merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Creem's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.

Microsoft Edge Add-ons policies

Information is used only to provide the features you see, and never for advertising, profiling or credit decisions. It is not sold or transferred to anyone.

Children

Tablewright is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
